Who Yields at an Intersection With No Signs in Texas?
You reach an intersection with no signs, no signals, and no difference in lanes or road surface. Who do you yield to?
Short answer: Yield to any vehicle that has entered the intersection or is approaching it from your right.
Why
When nothing controls an intersection, the Texas handbook gives the right-of-way to the vehicle on your right. If that road is clear, or the cars coming from it are far enough away for you to cross safely, you may go.
Check your left as well. With no traffic controls at all, a car from that side could still be coming. And even when the law says it's your turn, wait until the other driver actually yields before you pull out.
